Vinasse Waste Management - Biogas Application
This project captures methane from vinasse generated during ethanol production through anaerobic digestion and converts the recovered biogas into renewable energy for on-site use. The project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by preventing uncontrolled methane release, displacing fossil fuel consumption, improving wastewater management, and contributing to sustainable industrial operations. The resulting emission reductions are eligible for certification under the Gold Standard for the Global Goals.
