TDV Safe Water Supply Project – Tanzania
The TDV Safe Water Supply Project, developed by Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı (TDV), aims to improve access to clean and safe drinking water through the construction and operation of deep community boreholes. The project includes drilling boreholes into protected underground aquifers, installing solar- or generator-powered pumping systems, elevated water storage tanks, and water distribution points. The project is expected to improve public health and living conditions by providing reliable access to hygienic water, reducing dependence on unsafe water sources, and decreasing the time spent collecting water.
