ETG Live Better Improved Cookstove Project in Kenya

This Programme of Activities (PoA) aims to facilitate the dissemination of improved cookstoves (ICS) to low-income households across Kenya. The PoA utilizes climate finance as a mechanism to overcome affordability barriers, enhance access to clean cooking technologies, and support the widespread adoption of energy-efficient cookstoves among underserved communities. The PoA is implemented by ETG Climate Solutions SA under the ETG Live Better Improved Cookstove Project in Kenya. ETG Climate Solutions SA is a climate-focused organization engaged in the development and implementation of nature-based solutions and energy transition initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions. The PoA is expected to distribute more than 250,000 improved cookstoves across Kenya during its implementation period. In addition to stove dissemination, the project includes beneficiary identification, user training and awareness programmes, post-distribution support, and ongoing monitoring activities to ensure proper adoption and sustained use of the improved technologies.
