Clean and Efficient Energy Programme of Activities in the Philippines
The Clean and Efficient Energy Programme of Activities (PoA) in the Philippines promotes the adoption of clean and energy-efficient technologies to reduce GHG emissions and improve access to sustainable energy services. The PoA includes VPA 1 – Solar Lamp Distribution, which replaces conventional lighting with solar-powered lamps, and VPA 2 – Improved Cookstove Distribution, which reduces fuel consumption through more efficient cooking technologies. Together, the VPAs support emission reductions, lower household energy costs, and improved energy and environmental outcomes across the Philippines.
