After processing by FPD's robots, the electronic waste is further treated to separate and recycle the remaining metal and plastic materials. The facility handles plastics such as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), and metals including aluminum, steel, copper, gold, silver, palladium, tin, and lead. Emission reductions are claimed for the recycling of aluminum, steel, tin, and lead.
