Scaling up the production and sale of efficient cookstoves in the urban areas of Maputo Province

The project aims at enhancing the penetration rate of fuel-efficient charcoal fired cookstoves to urban households of Maputo province contributing to the reduction of non-renewable cooking fuel usage. The project also foresees to sustain the local supply chain of cookstoves productions and generate generate new jobs along with other SDGs benefits. The project is self-financed and additional: carbon revenues are meant to expand distribution activities and guarantee mainteinance throughtout their creditable lifespan.
