IRIBA Water Access Program in Rwanda
The IRIBA Water Access Program in Rwanda (IWAP Rwanda) is a transformative climate and health initiative bringing clean, carbon-free drinking water to underserved schools and communities across Rwanda. Implemented by IRIBA Water Group, the program will install 2,500 smart water ATMs providing safe, affordable drinking water to over 1 million people who need it most. These innovative water points eliminate the need to boil water with firewood or charcoal, directly reducing greenhouse gas emissions while preventing deforestation and improving public health.
