Inclusive Social Forestry with Small-holder Farmers in Timor Leste

The project initiative in Timor Leste is designed to enhance socio-economic resilience while reducing local communities’ vulnerability to natural disasters. By integrating plantation practices with existing land use practices of the communities, the project aims to restore degraded land, enhance livelihood security through agroforestry, sequester carbon, and strengthen ecosystem-based natural resource management.
