RVPA-2 Methane Reduction by Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) in Vietnam

The VPA for Vietnam, a component of the overarching PoA, focuses specifically on promoting sustainable rice production in the country. The project's core activity is the implementation of Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) to reduce methane emissions and conserve water. By providing farmers with training and technical support, the VPA aims to improve yields, reduce input costs, and create a verifiable carbon asset stream that contributes to the country's climate commitments and generates additional income for participating farmers.
