Located in Benban, within the Aswan Governorate, AMEA Power is developing a 1,000MW solar PV power plant integrated with a 600MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). AMEA Power will build, own and operate the project, following the signing of Power Purchase Agreements with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), and land agreements with the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA).
